Pro Tip: A quick vacuum before placement ensures your new mattress or base is set in a clean space.
A new mattress doesn’t just change how you sleep, it changes how your body is supported. It’s completely normal for your body to need time to adjust.
Your previous mattress shaped your posture for years, even if it wasn’t supporting you properly.
For some customers, this feels amazing immediately. For others, it can take time. Most adjustment periods last 2–4 weeks, but it can take up to 30 nights for your body to fully adapt.
This is normal and temporary. Your body is adjusting to healthier alignment.
Consistency is key.
We strongly recommend sleeping on your new mattress for a minimum of 30 nights before making any comfort decisions. This ensures your body has had adequate time to adapt and gives you the most accurate long-term feel.
That’s where our 120-Day Comfort Exchange comes in.
We’re confident in the products we carry, but we also stand behind you if an adjustment is needed.
Sleep is personal. Comfort is personal. That’s why every mattress purchased at Mattress Home includes our 120-Night Comfort Exchange. We want you sleeping well, not second-guessing your decision.
We strongly recommend sleeping on your new mattress for at least 30 nights to allow your body to adjust before making a comfort decision.
For health and safety reasons, mattresses showing heavy staining, damage, or infestation cannot be exchanged.
These fees help cover transportation, inspection, and handling.
A mattress is a long-term health investment. Our 120-Night Comfort Exchange exists to ensure proper fit, not to encourage short-term mattress rotation. This is a one-time exchange opportunity designed to help you find the right comfort level with confidence. We stand behind the products we carry and the guidance provided by our sleep specialists.
If you’re unsure about your comfort level:
Call us at 941-922-2292
or chat with our team online before initiating an exchange.
Often, a simple adjustment in foundation, pillow choice, or base position resolves the concern.
We believe in fair, consistent pricing. Because we align our pricing with authorized manufacturer promotions, you can shop with confidence knowing you’re receiving competitive brand-backed pricing. If the identical mattress you purchased is advertised by Mattress Home at a lower price within 30 days of delivery, we’ll credit you the difference.
Simple. Transparent. Confident.
Credits are issued back to the original method of payment.
Our pricing is designed to reflect long-term value, not short-term promotional swings. Our 120-Night Comfort Exchange protects your comfort. Our 30-Day Price Assurance protects your timing. Both exist to give you confidence in your purchase.
If you have questions about pricing or promotions, call 941-922-2292 or chat with our team online.
We’re here to help.
At Mattress Home, your purchase doesn’t end at delivery. If a warranty issue arises, we don’t send you in circles, we guide you through the process and advocate on your behalf. Because we work closely with our manufacturing partners, we’re able to help ensure claims are reviewed quickly and correctly when proper documentation is provided.
Please note: Manufacturer review times typically range from 1–3 weeks. Approval timelines are determined by the manufacturer and are outside of Mattress Home’s control.
To ensure timely processing, all required photos and documentation must be submitted through our warranty form. We are unable to submit partial or incomplete claim packages to the manufacturer. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide all required images and information before a claim can be processed.
We make the process simple and transparent.
Mattress pricing changes over time due to material, freight, and manufacturing costs. Warranty credit is based on the original purchase price.
If the current replacement model is priced higher than your original purchase, the price difference will be due at the time of exchange.
If you select a mattress priced lower than your original purchase, the warranty exchange will be processed as an even swap. Any remaining balance will not be refunded, credited, or applied toward delivery fees, service charges, or other merchandise.
This policy reflects manufacturer guidelines and protects fairness across all customers.
Mattress Home assists directly with mattress warranty claims. For the following categories, claims are typically handled directly by the manufacturer:
For your convenience, we provide manufacturer contact information on this page.
Failure to meet manufacturer requirements may void coverage.
We can’t override manufacturer policies.
That’s the Mattress Home difference.
Certain products require special production or manufacturer allocation.
All special orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of purchase.
Because these items are produced or allocated specifically for your order, they cannot be cancelled once production or shipment has begun.
Lead times vary by manufacturer and product type. Estimated timeframes are provided at the time of purchase and are subject to manufacturer scheduling and freight conditions. Estimated lead times are not guaranteed and may be affected by production schedules, material availability, or freight delays.
California King mattresses and other non-standard sizes that are not part of our regular instock inventory are considered special-order products. Because these items are produced or allocated specifically for your order, cancellations after production or shipment has begun may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 50%. This policy reflects manufacturer production commitments, freight allocation, and the limited resale market for specialty sizes.
Pillows, sheets, mattress protectors, and similar soft goods are final sale and not eligible for return once opened.
Special orders cannot be cancelled or returned unless determined to be defective in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
The manufacturer law tag must remain attached to your mattress at all times.
Removal of the law tag automatically voids the manufacturer’s warranty.
If the law tag is missing, altered, or illegible, the manufacturer may deny your claim regardless of defect.
We recommend checking that your law tag remains securely attached before submitting a warranty claim.
All mattress manufacturers require that the mattress remain free of stains, moisture damage, and unsanitary conditions.
Even a small stain may void your warranty and your 120-Night Comfort Exchange.
Protectors preserve your investment and ensure your warranty remains valid.
Your mattress must be supported by a proper foundation that meets the manufacturer’s guidelines.
If you are unsure whether your current foundation meets manufacturer requirements, we recommend replacing it or consulting with one of our sleep specialists.
Certain platform beds may not require a box spring. In these cases, a bunkie board or low-profile foundation may be recommended.
Improper support is one of the most common causes of premature sagging and warranty denial.
Normal body impressions are expected as materials break in and conform to your body. A visible impression does not automatically qualify as a defect.
Manufacturer warranties typically require a measurable body impression (without weight on the mattress) that exceeds the manufacturer’s minimum threshold — often 1” to 1.5” depending on brand.
Impressions below the manufacturer’s stated threshold are considered normal wear and are not covered under warranty.
Clear photos are required to process a warranty claim. Mattress must be fully accessible and stripped of bedding prior to inspection or photo submission. When properly submitted through our warranty claim form, photos may serve as the official inspection.
If the mattress cannot be lifted or proper photos cannot be provided, Mattress Home may offer an in-home inspection service for a standard service fee.
This service allows our team to document the required information for manufacturer review. This fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee warranty approval.
Submitting incomplete or unclear documentation may delay claim processing.
